Hoffman Estates drivers have a large assortment of crossover SUVs to choose from and the Ford Escape is one of the Foresters top competitors. But when it comes to standard safety, capable performance, spacious interior, and fuel-efficient performance the Ford Escape falls short.

  • Safety: The Subaru Forester has an amazing track record for being the safest vehicle in its class and that hasn't changed with Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology standard on every model. All of the same advanced safety features that are included in EyeSight are only available on the Ford Escape. The Escape also doesn't offer LED Steering Responsive Headlights, Stolen Vehicle Recovery or Rear Seat Reminder.
  • Performance: No matter where the road may go the Subaru Forester is ready with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and available X-Mode with Hill Descent Control. The Escape is only available with all-wheel-drive for an extra cost and delivers less capability. The Escape also isn't available with an addition off-road performance features that are comparable to X-Mode with Hill Descent Control.
  • Fuel Efficiency: Everyone from around Hoffman Estates wants to get as many miles per gallon as possible. Which is just one more thing that the Subaru Forester does better than the Escape with 33 highway mpg. with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The Escape with all-wheel-drive only gets 29 highway mpg. with its least powerful engine option.
  • Interior Space: More spacious seating and more flexible cargo space are two more reasons to love the Subaru Forester. The Escape only has 98.7 cubic feet of passenger space with a maximum cargo area of only 68 cubic feet. While the Forester has 111.9 cubic feet and 76.1 cubic feet.

The best way to discover all of the reasons to love the Subaru Forester make your way down to Brilliance Subaru for a test drive.
