Subaru Tops Kelley Blue Book Awards
"Offering standard all-wheel drive in all but one of its models, plus improved fuel efficiency and a strong reputation for long-term reliability, Subaru claims this year's 5-Year Cost to Own Award for best brand," said Kelly Blue Book. "Recently revamped infotainment offerings have also improved Subaru's overall standing in the eyes of the Kelley Blue Book editors as well as new-car shoppers, reflected by solid sales increases. Long respected as all-weather wonders, Subarus now exhibit recent efforts in the areas of efficiency, functionality and style."
It's not hard to see why KBB editors and drivers have been attracted to recent Subaru models. But what's essential about the Cost to Own Awards, is that they not only take into account more obvious and flashy features like attractive sheet metal and high-tech infotainment systems - they also consider fuel economy, residual value, reliability, and original purchase price.
