What truly sets the Crosstrek apart is its standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Selectable driving modes help this compact SUV maintain exceptional traction and control in challenging conditions while maximizing efficiency on open highways in the Huntley area. Even with AWD, the Crosstrek is an amazingly efficient small crossover, earning 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, while the adventure-focused Wilderness Edition still manages a respectable 24 city and 29 highway.

Thoughtfully Designed Interior and Exterior

With seating for five passengers and a spacious 105.1-inch wheelbase in most trims, there's ample room for everyone. The 60-40 folding rear seats offer flexible cargo solutions, while available features such as heated front seats, leather-trimmed upholstery with distinctive orange stitching, and a heated leather steering wheel add premium touches.

The exterior design combines rugged capability with refined styling. Standard features include LED headlights with auto high-beam assist, deep-tinted glass, and a selection of wheel options ranging from 17-inch dark gray aluminum-alloy wheels on the Base trim to 18-inch machine-finished designs on higher trims. Algonquin drivers will want to consider the available power moonroof that brings natural light into the cabin.

Advanced Technology and Safety Features

Safety remains paramount in every Crosstrek, with award-winning Subaru EyeSight technology standard across all trims. This comprehensive suite, found throughout our new Subaru lineup, includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trims add blind-spot detection, reverse automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert for greater confidence.

The multimedia experience varies by trim, starting with dual 7-inch displays in the Base model and upgrading to an impressive 11.6-inch touchscreen in Premium trims and above. All systems feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice-activated controls. The available premium audio system delivers exceptional sound quality through 10 speakers and a 432-watt amplifier. Lake in the Hills families will find the MySubaru Connected Services particularly useful, offering features like remote engine start, vehicle health reports, and emergency SOS capability.

Subaru Crosstrek FAQ

The Subaru Crosstrek is a versatile compact SUV that combines the efficiency of a sedan with the capability of an off-road vehicle. Known for its rugged design and exceptional reliability, the Crosstrek features the standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Drivers from Elgin appreciate the Crosstrek model's ability to handle a range of road conditions while maintaining excellent fuel economy for daily commutes.

The Crosstrek comes with a 2.0-liter Subaru BOXER® engine that delivers responsive performance and impressive efficiency. For those seeking more power, a 2.5-liter engine option is available on select trim levels, providing enhanced acceleration and towing capability. Huntley drivers will find that both engine options offer smooth power delivery, whether navigating city streets or exploring scenic backroads.

The Crosstrek comes loaded with advanced safety technology, including Subaru's EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. This system includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist. Additional safety features include a rearview camera, blind-spot detection, and rear cross-traffic alert. Families in Algonquin trust the Crosstrek to keep their loved ones protected on every journey.

The Crosstrek offers generous cargo capacity with approximately 20.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats. When you fold down the 60/40 split rear seats, cargo space expands to approximately 55.3 cubic feet, making it easy to transport larger items. The wide rear opening and low load floor make loading and unloading convenient for outdoor enthusiasts and active lifestyles.

The Crosstrek boasts an impressive 8.7 inches of ground clearance, which is among the best in its class. This substantial clearance allows drivers to confidently navigate rough terrain, unpaved roads, and challenging weather conditions. Lake in the Hills residents find this feature particularly useful during winter months when snow-covered roads require extra capability.

The Crosstrek features a user-friendly infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Available features include a premium Harman Kardon audio system, wireless smartphone charging, and a larger touchscreen display on higher trim levels.
