Performance & Driving Dynamics
Propelling the Subaru Trailseeker is a dual-motor electric powertrain that generates 375 horsepower. Acceleration is both smooth and immediate-helpful for confident highway merging and responsive city driving. Subaru estimates that the Trailseeker can reach 60 mph from a standstill in approximately 4.5 seconds. EV-tuned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive provides balanced handling and surefooted control in various conditions, including wintry commutes through Huntley. Standard dual-function X-MODE® enables extra grip on loose gravel, wet pavement, or uneven terrain.
The Trailseeker's towing capability further enhances its versatility. With a max trailer rating of 3,500 when properly equipped, it can handle small trailers, compact campers, or outdoor equipment with ease.
Range & Charging Convenience
A 75-kWh battery pack gives the Subaru Trailseeker an estimated driving range of around 260 miles, making it practical for Algonquin commutes or longer drives out of Dundee. When connected to a compatible DC fast charger, the Trailseeker supports speeds up to 150 kW, helping reduce charging time during travel stops. Subaru has also integrated a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, expanding access to public charging infrastructure, including Tesla Supercharger locations nationwide.

Inside, the Trailseeker provides a comfortable and refined cabin. Compared to the Solterra, it offers increased passenger space and expanded storage options-an advantage for both families and weekend travelers. Cargo space measures 31.3 cubic feet behind the second row or 30.4 when equipped with the panoramic roof. When your Lake in the Hills outings require more carrying capacity, you can fold the rear seats for up to 74 cubic feet (71.8 cubic feet with panoramic roof).
