Air Conditioning System & Maintenance

The automotive air conditioning system uses pressurized the refrigerant to cool hot air. Several components are needed to get the job done, including a compressor, refrigerant, variable pressure lines, hoses, condenser, and blower. The system is susceptible to wear and tear. The #1 indicator that the air conditioner requires maintenance is reduced cold-air production. Air conditioning service and repair is about identifying the problem component with an inspection and applying the maintenance to restore factory specifications.

A/C Refrigerant Recharge

Pressurized refrigerant can leak from microscopic pores, loose connections, and damaged parts. The A/C inspection will reveal if the refrigerant is low. We have a computerized A/C recharge station that installs new refrigerants to specifications.

Compressor Repair/Replacement

The compressor is needed to pressurize refrigerant. It receives power from the drive belt at the pulley. The pulley/bearing can go bad with enough use. We can often repair bad pulley bearings without replacing the full compressor. We can also replace the compressor as needed if it has failed.

Fuse Replacement

The A/C system has a fuse that regulates electrical performance. This fuse can go bad or blow under a heavy electrical load. The inspection will detect if you have a blown fuse. We can replace the fuse quickly and conveniently.

Lines/Hoses Repair

The A/C system has high and low-pressure lines that might allow refrigerant to escape if compromised. We can repair or replace lines/hoses as needed to restore system integrity.
