What Caliper Service Involves

Caliper service is mostly about making sure that the slide pins in the caliper are lubricated and cleaned. These slide pins allow the calipers to smoothly move back and forth, and when they get dirty, they can cause blockages or even diminish the effectiveness of your brakes. When we perform caliper service on your car, we disassemble the calipers and remove the slide pin. After cleaning the slide pin, we then lubricate it and make sure it’s easy to move. Then we assemble the caliper, ensure that it works properly, and then get your car back to you.
