Brilliance Subaru is proud to highlight underdogs that are currently available for adoption at Anderson Humane.

Although some may often gravitate toward puppies, there are plenty of other dogs that sometimes need a little extra support and care. These dogs might be a bit older, experience vision or hearing impairments, and/or have additional physical challenges. Despite this, our underdogs have an enormous amount of love to give and want to be by your side through life's ups and downs.

That's why Brilliance Subaru has partnered with Anderson Humane and is making a steadfast commitment to supporting the underdogs.

Brilliance Subaru will proudly cover up to $200 in adoption fees for these underdogs. Allowing them to spend less time in the shelter, and more time in their new loving homes!

Subaru Love Promise Dealer of the Month

Brilliance Subaru had quite the exciting day on Monday November 28th.

Brilliance Subaru was nationally recognized for Subaru Love Promise dealer of the month, for the month of August, and have received their Medal of Honor! The love promise story was about Owner Kevin Keefe and General Manager Jim Daluga going to Cumberland Virginia twice to assist Anderson Humane in picking up the Envigo beagles.

Subaru also brought lunch for the entire staff and brought $500 to donate to Anderson Humane in honor of this award.

SUBARU LOVES PETS ADOPTION EVENT SUCCESS

During the weekend of October 15th-16th, Brilliance Subaru hosted an adoption event at the Brilliance Subaru Dog Park with Anderson Humane.

The first day of the event felt like spring with beautiful skies and warm weather. Adoptees started lining up an hour before the event started to make sure that they got the animal that they wanted and it made the Brilliance Subaru/Anderson Humane team hopeful for a wonderful weekend.

Throughout the first day, 61 rescued animals found their forever homes and there were only 4 adoptable animals left from the first day that went back for the second day.

By Sunday, there were more adult dogs and even more kittens were brought to the adoption event! By the end of the weekend, over 75 animals were adopted!

We want to thank Anderson Humane for their incredible work in finding these rescue animals a home. We also want to thank the volunteers and the adoptees for making this event such a success!

Brilliance and Beagles 

The Brilliance Subaru Team picked up a load of beagle puppies with Anderson Humane! 

General Manager Jim Daluga and Owner Kevin Keefe of Brilliance Subaru embarked on a long journey with Anderson Humane to Virginia to rescue 100 beagles!  

For those who may not know, 4,000 beagles are being rescued from Envigo breeding and research facility in Cumberland, Va. because multiple federal regulations were broken and the conditions of the facility where the beagles lived were unlivable.

On the morning of August 8th, the Brilliance Team traveled with Anderson Humane to bring back 100 beagles to Anderson Humane’s animal shelter. 

The Brilliance team had 34 beagles with them in their van and the dogs were singing with joy! Many of these animals had not seen the light of day and were malnourished, so they had doggie snacks, lots of water, and the windows had sunshine shining through. On the drive home, the Brilliance Subaru and Anderson Humane team were rocked with heavy storms and the first leg of the trip had no service, but it was all worth it to find these dogs a better life than the life they had in the Envigo facility.
